By using the one-time password service, bank customers can perform card transactions with one-time passwords without worrying about forgetting or leaking the second password of their card.
To activate this service, Parsian debit card holders can go to Parsian Bank ATMs and enter a desired eight-digit code (simple code such as numbers in a row and repetition of a number more than 4 times is allowed) not), determine according to the images below. This password is required to issue a one-time password, and if you forget it, you must return to Parsian Bank’s ATM and define a new password.
It is also necessary to explain that this service can be used by customers who have already registered their mobile number in the system.

1. First, you must go to Parsian Bank ATM.

• After setting the password, select the “Confirm” option. An SMS containing an activation code will be sent to the cardholder’s mobile number. This activation code is valid for 24 hours, and during this time, the user can activate Parsian Bank one-time password service using Parsian Mobile Bank (My Parsian application version 1.3.14 and later).

• From this point on, there is no need to be at the ATM and you can continue the process at home or any other place.

• On the next page, if you have used Parsian Mobile Bank before, select the first option, “I have received the username and password to login to Mobile Bank”.

*If you don’t have the username and password of Mobile Bank, choose the second option. A window will open on your browser in which you must enter your national code and receive the mobile bank username and password using the text message that will be sent to you.

3. Activating the one-time password with Parsian Bank

• After successfully logging into the application, select the “one-time password” option from the right menu. (If you don’t see the side menu, click on the three horizontal lines at the top of the page, next to the word “My Persians” to open the right menu.)

• On the opened page, in the “Registration” tab, enter the card number and activation code that was sent to you by SMS when requesting a one-time password with the ATM and select the confirmation option. A one-time password will be registered for you.

4. How to use Parsian Bank’s one-time password when shopping online

When you need the second password of your bank card, on the application, select the “one-time password” option from the right menu and then select the “Issue” tab.

• In this tab, select your desired card and enter the 8-digit code you set at the ATM in step 1. Then select the “seven-digit password” option to generate a second one-time password for you.

Note: This password is valid for 60 seconds and can only be used once during this period. Also, if you make 3 consecutive unsuccessful attempts to enter the one-time password, the one-time password service will be disabled for that card, and you will have to go through the activation process for that card again.

• If you forget the 8-digit password set by you in step 1, you can set a new 8-digit password again through the “Password Operations” menu by visiting Parsian Bank ATM.

5. Deactivating Parsian Bank’s one-time password

To disable the one-time password of Parsian Bank cards, select the one-time password option through My Parsian application. Select the third tab titled “Deactivation”. Then select the desired card and select the deactivation option.
